I’m writing this a couple of days after I reached my goal, so I’m really at 352 currently. However, I wanted to put up a post for this milestone, so I’m doing it now.

My 350th book was The Billionaire Next Door, by Jessica Lemmon. I reviewed it and gave it four stars on Goodreads, but only because you can’t give half-stars. It was really a four and a half star read. I love her stuff.

You can read my review here. I’m lucky enough to be on the ‘approved’ list for this publisher on NetGalley, so I get her books early. This one is due out in late October. If you don’t read Ms. Lemmon’s books, you’re missing out.

Another book I read and reviewed was Race the Darkness, part one of a new series by a fairly new author, Abbie Roads. It will be released on October 4th. I also rate this one at 4.5 stars, and you can read my thoughts here.

I’m very selective with the paranormal genre, but this one was really good. I can’t remember where I read a preview, but I read the first chapter somewhere, so as soon as I saw this on NG, I grabbed it. I can’t wait for the second book.

Most of the books I’ve read recently hovered around the four star mark, except for one. I always hate giving a low grade to a book, especially to one written by an author I adore. It was an ARC as well, so I had to write a review for that one as well. I won’t link to it here, but if you want to see it, it’s easy enough to find if you look on my Goodreads profile.

The only reason I won’t publicize that review is because I LOVE the author, and I felt like that book was an aberration. I said so in my review as well – and I have to grit my teeth every time I even think about it.

So that’s it for now – go through my book list, maybe you’ll find something to read. My stuff is mostly romance, but I’ve got some other stuff in there too. Up next (I think) is The Last One by Alexandra Oliva. I’m looking forward to it!
